MuzeWorks 4 Veterans (Since May 2025) is a growing initiative that brings together Music, Art, Writing, and Creative Expression, to support military connected individuals (To include Veterans, Active, Reserve, Transitioning to Civilian life, Families, and supportive members of our Veteran communities) by providing them with opportunities to participate in the creative process. We believe that creative expression helps to enhance our wellbeing along our individual healing journeys. MuzeWorks 4 Veterans encompasses our MusicWorks 4 Veterans program (Active since 2012) which focuses on healing through music. What does your “Muze” inspire you to create?
MusicWorks 4 Veterans
Is a series of programs and events that provide opportunities for all military connected individuals to participate in and experience the joy of music-making and friendship. We host music jam sessions, like SoundVetJam, which are held in a safe and welcoming environment, where we support and encourage each other.
Our programs also provide interactive musical entertainment for Veterans residing in Veteran's homes, nursing care and Veteran service centers. Veterans participate by playing hand percussion, singing, clapping and sharing stories.
Through the sharing of individual life experiences, collaborative songwriting sometimes takes place, as well as the recording of original songs.

In addition to taking part in various community activities such as fairs, festivals and resource events, our outreach efforts include live band performances to support events hosted by other Veteran Serving Organizations.
Our MusicWorks 4 Veterans Outreach Team shares with the community how Music, Joy and Friendship can bring about healing benefits to one's life.

SoundVet Jam
Is a Community-based Music Jam event hosted by MusicWorks 4 Veterans in a safe and friendly environment. It's about Veterans, Family and Community all coming together around Music, finding Friendship, sharing stories and experiencing the benefits of having a creative musical outlet.
