Help us build the MusicWorks4Veterans Activities and Administration Center.
We are excited to announce our plans to open a new MusicWorks4Veterans (MW4V) Activities and Administration Center in Lakewood, Washington, right in the heart of the JBLM military community. This center will enable us to expand our mission by hosting additional music jams, open mics, special events, and offering dedicated space for music lessons. The facility will also serve as the headquarters for our administrative operations and the management of our music equipment inventory.
This new venue will enhance our ability to serve Veterans, military families, and transitioning service members in the South Puget Sound area, including near Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). Since our founding in 2012, we have consistently provided meaningful, music-based programs designed to foster healing, connection, and reintegration. Currently, we host interactive music gatherings at least five times per month at various locations, thanks to the generosity of local organizations that allow us to use their spaces free of charge. Additionally, MW4V organizes special music events throughout the year and also provides entertainment for other nonprofit Veteran-serving organizations in support of their efforts to serve our military communities.
While we are committed to continuing all of our current activities, the new MW4V Activities and Administration Center will allow us to:
* Expand programming to include more frequent and diverse events for Veterans and their families.
* Offer flexibility to schedule activities on our terms, rather than being constrained by the availability of partner venues.
* Create new opportunities for Veterans and families to participate in music lessons, open mics, and other social and creative events.
This project represents a major step forward in our ability to fulfill our mission and provide a safe, supportive space for Veterans and their families to experience the healing power of music.
Your donation to MusicWorks 4 Veterans will make a significant and lasting impact by supporting the implementation of this much-needed facility. Since our founding in 2012, we have proudly operated on an all-volunteer basis, with no paid staff. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting our programs and empowering Veterans through music.
Together, we can make this dream a reality and ensure that Veterans and their families have access to the transformative benefits of music for years to come.
